Mircalla made fists. She was tempted to go to Lupus and kick his little arrogant ass. She shielded the area. The Crows were afraid of her. Lupus had never met the Crows. His settlement existed because she allowed it. That little idiot had no idea.
Mircalla could smell the death sticking to the poor guy who had been bitten. Was Lupus that unaware of what was going on? Without the moon, he was no longer able to pass the gift, at least not the old way. His bite was deadly but could no longer turn anyone. Most of the bite victims died because the wounds became infected. They could have been saved with proper medical care and antibiotics.
